Protesting MBBS students not allowed to enter campus
ROHTAK :MBBS students of a private medical college in Jhajjar protesting against shortage of faculty and other facilities alleged they were not allowed to enter the campus by the authorities on Sunday evening and they were forced to spend the night on the road.
The students are from the first and only batch at the World College of Medical Sciences and Research, which was established in 2016.
They have been protesting for the past one month.
“We even contacted administration officials, but they did not turn up. Police sent a PCR van but they failed to get us entry into the campus. Jhajjar MLA Geeta Bhukkal visited the protest site. The government and the administration have failed to address the students’ grievances and they are playing with the future of innocent students, she said.
