WHAT IS ALLOWED IN NON-CONTAINMEN­T AREAS

All internal sector markets will remain open from 7am to 7pm

Vehicles will be allowed to be used during this time, without any pass. Three people, including driver, allowed in four-wheelers, but no pillion rider on two-wheelers Odd-even formula will be applied in respect of both opening of shops and use of vehicles: On Monday, only shop numbers ending with even digit and vehicles carrying registrati­on number with an even last digit will be allowed. The odd-even formula will not be applicable on emergency vehicles, government vehicles and essential shops, such as those selling groceries, vegetables and medicines, which will remain open on all days Liquor shops will also open with odd-even formula People below the age of 65 can also go for walks during this window anywhere in the city

Distributi­on of fruits and vegetables by government buses will continue Sampark Centres will remain open

Industrial activities, as allowed by the Centre under red zone, will kick off Constructi­on activities allowed, as long as workers stay with the contractor

Intercity movement

No interstate pass needed to travel to Chandigarh; movement allowed between 7am and 7pm Odd-even forumula will apply and only ID card will suffice Thermal screening will be done at border points

Govt/private offices

All government offices will remain open with curtailed staff. For instance, 100% attendance mandatory for deputy secretary and officers above this rank while others ranks to work with 33% capacity

MC, police and those dealing with Covid duties will have 100% staff

Big shopping malls and complexes, such as in Sector 17, or those on sector dividing roads, such as those along Madhya Marg, Dakshin Marg and other arterial roads Congested markets, like Palika Bazaar and Sadar Bazar in Sector 19, Patel Market in Sector 15 and Shastri Market in Sector 22
