Director and screenwriter Abhinav Singh Kashyap took to Facebook to share how Arbaaz Khan, Salman Khan and family “sabotaged” his career after his film Dabangg released in 2010.

His long post comes on the heels of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, where in he mentioned how this incident “brings to the forefront a much bigger problem of what many of us have been dealing with”.

Sharing his own experience post Dabangg, he wrote, “The reason I moved out of making Dabangg 2 ten years ago is because Arbaaz Khan, in collusion with Sohail Khan and family, was trying to take control of my career by bullying me.” He added how

Arbaaz Khan sabotaged his second project with Shree Ashtavinayak Films by threatening its head Mr Raj Mehta of dire consequences.

Kashyap further wrote that when he moved to Viacom Pictures, they did the same.

He revealed that he tried to file an FIR with all the proof that includes “threats as texts”, but the police refused and registered “a non-cognizable complaint” instead.

Reacting to Kashyap’s post, Arbaaz told us: “We have already taken legal action even before this post, did that after his earlier post (when Kashyap spoke about differences with Arbaaz and Salman and stepped down from Dabangg franchise). We have had no communication with him since we started working on Dabangg 2... We parted ways professionally. Don’t know where all this coming from... We are taking legal action.”

Meanwhile, Abhinav’s brother, Anurag Kashyap, in a tweet, refused to comment.
