SIDHU GIVES APPOINTMENT LETTERS TO 18

CHANDIGARH: Punjab cabinet minister Balbir Sidhu on Friday said the government is committed towards providing safe and healthy food to people in state. He gave appointment letters to 18 newly-recruited food safety officers. He said that the commissionerate of food and drug administration has been tasked to sensitise food business operators about distribution of safe food to public and take action under against those who indulge in unsafe and substandard food item distribution.
