LITTLE ONES, GET INSPIRED

This HT fan is five-year-old Shivansh Chugh from Janakpuri, New Delhi, whose parents sent us this cute picture of him meditating. He also practices taekwondo to keep himself fit and energetic in the lockdown. It’s a trying phase for children and we are happy to learn that our readers have kept their little ones busy in fitness activities.

WHAT A THOUGHTFUL ‘DOGTOR’!

What you are looking at is not a dog, it’s a dog cutout! When Flat Teddy, the therapy dog, could not visit hospitals due to the pandemic, his owners cheered up the patients with a cardboard cutout of the dogtor. “It’s ruff not being here with you. Stay strong, my friends,” a note by Flat Teddy read.

LOVE MAKES LIFE WORTHWHILE

When Jefferson Riascos from Colombia proposed to his partner Diana Paola Angola, the entire medical staff cheered for the couple. Diana was admitted in the ICU where she gave birth to their baby in a state of induced coma. The day she was discharged, Jefferson got down on one knee as nurses held the sign ‘Will you marry me?’

WINNERS NEVER QUIT

The Race Across America (RAAM), one of the world’s most challengin­g cycle races, was organised virtually this year due to Covid-19 outbreak. It had cyclists from various parts of the world competing against each other on indoor trainers. Cycling indoors for long hours was quite gruelling. Lt Col Bharat Pannu won the race after 12 days, pedalling over 4,000km. He managed with just 11 sleep breaks of 90 or 180 minutes.
