- Parteek Singh Mahal parteek.singh@htlive.com :

MOGA/BATHINDA Police now are looking into the possible link of the two accused arrested in the case of putting up a Khalistan flag on the terrace of the Moga district administrative complex with the Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF), a banned terror outfit.

Jaspal Singh and Inderjeet Singh Gill of Rauli village in Moga had put up the flag on the terrace of the administrative complex on August 14 while their accomplice Akashdeep Singh of Sadhu Wala village in Ferozepur district filmed the incident. While fleeing, the two men also removed and took along the Tricolour hoisted on the premises.

Jaspal and Inderjeet were arrested by the Delhi Police special cell on Sunday. The Delhi Police had claimed to have received information that two members of the Khalistan Zindabad Force would be coming to the national capital to commit some anti-national activities on the directions of their foreignbased handlers. Akashdeep was arrested from Bathinda.

A Moga court on Monday sent Jaspal and Inderjeet in police custody till September 5. The police produced the two in court after securing their custody from the Delhi Police.
