HARYANA BOARD PLANS EXAMS IN APRIL LAST WEEK

ROHTAK: The Board School Education Haryana (BSEH) has sent a proposal to the state government to conduct Class 10 and 12 board exams from the last week of April, said officials.

According to figures provided by the board, 6.10 lakh students, of which 2.62 lakh will appear for Class 12 board exam and 3.48 lakh for Class 10 board exam this year. In Class 12, 1.43 lakh students are enrolled in government schools and 1.19 lakh in private ones. While 1.85 lakh Class 10 students are studying in government schools and 1.63 lakh in private.

Confirming the same, board secretary Rajiv Prasad said they had sent a proposal to the Haryana government three days ago for conducting board exams after April 20. “We have just sent a proposal and the final decision will be taken by the state government,” he said. HTC
