CM urges communities to ‘unite’ for state’s development

CHANDIGARH: Chief minis - ter Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday urged members of various communities in Haryana to ‘ come together’ in a bid to accelerate the pace of development in the state.
Khattar was addressing ‘ Pratibha Protsahan Evam Samman Samaroh’ organised by Yadav Kalyan Sabha in Haryana’s Rewari district.
Referring to the Yadav community, the CM said a platform should be provided to the youths so that they could study well and become a reason of pride for the country.
“Following the path of ‘ Haryana Ek, Haryanvi Ek’, the members belonging to all communities should walk together on the path of development and brotherhood,” he said.
The chief minister said during his recent tour to the United States and Canada, he saw that foreigners were now expressing interest in investing in India.
“If all people of Haryana together create an environmentof healthy competition, NRIs as well as foreigners will also invest here,” he said.
The chief minister also honoured outstanding performers from various fields on the occasion.
They included meritorious students of Classes 10 and 12, as well as those selected for IIT, IIM, IAS and IPS
