CM urges communitie­s to ‘unite’ for state’s developmen­t

HONOURS OUTSTANDIN­G PERFORMERS FROM VARIOUS FIELDS AT ‘PRATIBHA PROTSAHAN EVAM SAMMAN SAMAROH’ IN REWARI

CHANDIGARH: Chief minis - ter Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday urged members of various communitie­s in Haryana to ‘ come together’ in a bid to accelerate the pace of developmen­t in the state.

Khattar was addressing ‘ Pratibha Protsahan Evam Samman Samaroh’ organised by Yadav Kalyan Sabha in Haryana’s Rewari district.

Referring to the Yadav community, the CM said a platform should be provided to the youths so that they could study well and become a reason of pride for the country.

“Following the path of ‘ Haryana Ek, Haryanvi Ek’, the members belonging to all communitie­s should walk together on the path of developmen­t and brotherhoo­d,” he said.

The chief minister said during his recent tour to the United States and Canada, he saw that foreigners were now expressing interest in investing in India.

“If all people of Haryana together create an environmen­tof healthy competitio­n, NRIs as well as foreigners will also invest here,” he said.

The chief minister also honoured outstandin­g performers from various fields on the occasion.

They included meritoriou­s students of Classes 10 and 12, as well as those selected for IIT, IIM, IAS and IPS
