JAIPUR: Chief minister Vasundhara Raje on Saturday expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party would return to power in the state in the 2018 assembly elections if all party MPs from Rajasthan united and collectively helped the government to solve problems of the people.

“We (BJP) will form the government once again in the state and Centre by winning the 2018 assembly elections and parliamentary elections in 2019,” Raje told BJP MPs at a meeting.

For this, the chief minister said, the 25 parliamentarians from the state must spend money from the Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) funds on development works that were of permanent nature so that people were benefitted directly.

The chief minister also asked MPs to get the development works completed on time with public participation at the villages selected under MP Adarsh Gram Yojana. She also asked the MPs to work along with the MLAs of their constituency and get the pending issues of the state resolved.

“For the development, there is a need of each other’s cooperation and a dedicated team,” she said.

Raje asked MPs to strongly raise the issues of their areas in the parliament and maintain regular dialogue with people so that there was direct contact.

BJP national co-general secretary (organisation) V Satish and BJP state president Ashok Parnami were also present at the meeting.

CM LAUNCHES OFFICIAL MOBILE APP

Raje on Saturday launched her official mobile application. People of Rajasthan through this mobile application can get latest information about various government schemes and programmes and can have direct a dialogue with the chief minister. They can even upload documents and photographs. The app is equipped with an integrated service delivery and complaint redressal system.
