Woman killed, two kids injured in roof collapse

NEW DELHI: A 25-year-old woman was killed and her two children injured when a portion of their room’s ceiling collapsed and fell on them in south Delhi’s Pul Prahladpur. The incident took place in the early hours of Saturday while the victims were sleeping in the room.

The deceased was identified as Meena. Her two children who were injured in the incident have been identified as Priya, 6, and Kalu, 4. Meena’s husband, Shyam Sunder, survived the incident as he was sleeping in the adjacent room.
