Don’t waste time with tales from epics: Abhay

CHANDIGARH: Leaderof Opposition Abhay Singh Chautala told parliamentary affairs minister Ram Bilas Sharma on Tuesday not to waste time of members by telling tales from Ramayana and Mahabharata.

The INLD leader stated this during the Question Hour on day three of monsoon session of the Haryana assembly. The minister was responding, on behalf of the chief minister, to a question on steps taken by the state government to strengthen women security in the state.

Sharma rambled on to epics, Ramayana and Mahabharata, while speaking on women security .“Ra van ki lanka tab jali jab Sitaji ka apmaan hua aur Duryodhan ki chhaati se la hunikaalka rB him ne Dr a up a dike kesh dhoye.” While Congress MLA Geeta Bhukkal urged the minister to give a direct reply, Abhay told him not to tell tales from the epics. “Do not waste time of the members. Do not try to hide things this way,” he said.
