GOVT SCHOOL TEACHER SHOT DEAD IN ROHTAK VILLAGE

-

ROHTAK: A 45-year-old government school teacher in Rohtak’s Bharan village was killed while his woman colleague was hospitalised after unidentified miscreants opened fire at them on Tuesday.

JBT teacher Dharmender was sitting in principal’s cabin for some official work when three to four miscreants entered the cabin and opened fire at him. Political science teacher Neeraj, who was sitting beside him in the cabin, also sustained a bullet injury in her foot.

According to postmortem reports, the miscreants pumped in six bullets inside Dharmender’s body. The police said he died on the spot while Neeraj was admitted to Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), Rohtak.

The villagers said Dharmender’s son was shot at when he had gone to Meham for some work 10 days ago. He had a miraculous escape as he sped up his car and escaped the shootout. A complaint in that case was reportedly registered with the Meham police, but the miscreants were to be arrested.
