Haryana to spend `15 crore on Gita Jayanti celebrations

KURUKSHETRA: BJP-lead Haryana government’s decision to celebrate international-level Gita Jayanati Utsav in December this year will cost the state government `15 crore. Kurukshetra deputy commissioner Sumedha Kataria said that the government has decided to a comprehensive facelift to the religious places of the city, especially the Braham Sarovar which will be the centre of attraction during the 11 day celebration.
