MISUSE OF PUBLIC MONEY

The debate on Haryana sports minister Anil Vij’s donating `50 lakh to Dera Sacha Sauda for ‘promotion of sports’ is just and legitimate. It has been observed that politicians always misuse public money. How ironic is the fact that the minister loosened his purse strings after witnessing a game, “Tiranga rumaal chhu”, which is not even a recognised sport. Vij should revoke what he had promised.
