Chennaiyin FC sign Jamaican international Duwayne Kerr
CHENNAI: Indian Super League champions Chennaiyin FC today announced that they have signed Jamaican international goalkeeper Duwayne Kerr for the 2016 edition of the ISL.
The 29-year-old from Westmoreland, Jamaica, joins Chennaiyin on a free transfer after the expiry of his contract with Iceland top tier outfit Stjarnan. Kerr started his career at hometown club Reno and spent two seasons there before moving to another Jamaican club Portmore United in 2007. Following a fouryear spell with Portmore, Kerr earned his first move abroad as he joined Strommen in the Norway second tier. After a two-year stint there, Kerr signed for Sarpsborg in the Norwegian top division and spent four seasons there before the move to Iceland.
