SECURITY GUARD KILLED IN HISAR ROAD MISHAP

HISAR: A 29-year-old man died in a road accident on the Tosham road here when his motorcycle was hit by a speeding car on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Mahaveer Singh, who was working as a security guard at a private hospital herer.

Mahaveer Singh was reportedly returning home after shopping for Karva Chauth.

Family members of the victim staged a blockade on the Tosham road as the police did not reach the spot promptly.

Naresh Kumar, a cousin of the victim, said, “We informed the police and ambulance service. But no one reached in time and Mahaveer died on the spot.”

Deputy superintendent of police (DSP), Hisar city, Bhagwan Dass later reached the spot and assured action against the guilty. Police sent the body of the deceased to the local civil hospital for postmortem.
