CLEAR REFUNDS BEFORE GST ROLLOUT: CBEC
CBEC on Wednesday asked its officials to chalk out an action plan for clearing pending refunds and drawback payment before the introduction of GST -the new indirect taxation regime that is to be rolled out from April. Central Board of Excise and Customs chairman Najib Shah said their focus was on timely finalisation of its legal and administrative framework.
