Manheld with 1kg gold at Amritsar airport

AMRITSAR: The customs department on Saturday arrested a person with 1kg illegal gold from Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport here.

The accused, Gulati, came from Qatar.

He had concealed the gold in a bag. Custom’s joint director Arvind Kumar said strict action is being taken against the person.
