RAO IS NEW VIGILANCE DIRECTOR
CHANDIGARH: The Punjab government on Monday issued orders for new postings of 18 IPS and 11 PPS officers.
DGP (internal vigilance and human rights) Hardeep Dhillon has been given additional charge of welfare.
Amritsar police commissioner Nageshwar Rao has been posted as the new vigilance director. IGP-cum-vigilance director V Neerja has been posted as IGP (personnel).
Ludhiana police chief Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh has been posted as IGP (ATS-2) and Jatinder Singh Aulakh IGP (law and order) is now IGP (headquarters). IGP (operations) Gautam Cheema has been posted as IGP (law and order) relieving Paramraj Singh Umranangal of the additional charge.
Naunihal Singh has been posted as IGP (welfare), Punjab, Chandigarh in addition to his charge as IGP border range (Amritsar).
