Bajwa’s statement on gang wars unfortunate: Phoolka

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday condemned Punjab rural development and panchayats minister Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa’s statement that “it is good that gangwars are happening in Punjab and criminals are killing each other”. In a release issued here on Monday, Punjab leader of opposition HS Phoolka said the statement was “highly condemnable” and shows that the government has failed to provide peaceful environment to the people of state. “The minister must take his statement back and apologise publically. Chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh must clarify his stand on the statement of his cabinet minister. The people of Punjab are in state of trauma and are issuing bizarre statements,” he said.
