DON’T MIX RELIGION AND POLITICS

Religion is a guiding force in every walk of life, including politics. But holy men are often used by unscrupulous leaders for furthering their own political agenda. Unfortunately, this seems to be happening in the Sikh community. There is a perpetual tug of war between the jathedars of the five Sikh Takhts and the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) on the one hand and other Sikh parties on the other.
