Dalit boy made to drink urine for refusing to clean bus
BARMER: A 17-year-old Dalit boy was allegedly beaten up by a bus driver and three of his friends and forced to drink urine in Balotra town of Barmer, late on Saturday, after he refused to clean a bus. On getting information about the incident from an onlooker, police immediately reached the spot and took the boy to a government hospital for treatment. Omaram Bheel, a relative of the accused, filed a case at the Balotra police station against the four accused on Sunday, following which the driver, Yaswanta Ram, was arrested.
