Sanju Samson:

Sixth highest scorer with 384 runs in 12 matches, the Delhi Daredevils batsman has made one century and two fifties. His ton against Rising Pune Supergiant won DD the match. Apart from that he scored two fifties, one of which helped beat Gujarat Lions.

Rahul Tripathi

The IPL debutant has over 350 runs this season and has already smashed two half-centuries. With Ajinkya Rahane not among runs, he has acted responsibl­y and played some solid knocks at the top. The best, however, was the 93* against KKR.

Nitish Rana

A product of the academy that has also groomed Gautam Gambhir and Unmukt Chand, the Mumbai Indians left-hander burst into limelight with 29-ball fifty against KKR. He has scored two more matchwinni­ng fifties apart from that.

Shreyas Iyer

The Mumbai batsman is one of the three youngsters holding DD’s shaky batting together. While his first fifty couldn’t help the team win, the next one was out of the top draw. He smashed 96 the other day as DD scaled a huge target set by Gujarat Lions.

Rishabh Pant

One for the future, he is likely to don gloves for India sometime in the future. Two days after losing his father, Pant hammered a fighting fifty. Pant later hit a 43-ball 97 against Gujarat Lions, a knock that was praised by even Sachin Tendulkar.
