Gang busted, 19 vehicles worth ~1.5 crore recovered

Police on Thursday claimed to have busted an inter-state gang of thieves with the recovery of 19 cars worth ₹1.5 crore. Five people have been arrested. Bathinda Inspector General of Police Sukhwinder Singh Chinna said, “Acting on a tip-off, Bahawala police arrested five persons for their alleged involvement in the theft of vehicles.” He said the accused arrested are Kulbir Singh and Harwinder Singh of Dhabwali, Sandeeep of Sikar, Bhupinder Singh of Abohar and Sukhwinder Singh of Beas.
