FDA raids quacks in Sirsa district
A team of food and drugs administration (FDA) and the Haryana health department on Thursday conducted raids in Sirsa district and registered a case against two quacks. An FDA spokesperson said the raid was conducted at Janta Hospital, Sirsa, where doctors, without appropriate qualifications and registration, were treating patients. A case was registered against the owner of the hospital, Chandrabhan Singh. In another case, quack Praveen Kumar Parik, who had been practising in Malekan village of Sirsa, was booked.
