FDA raids quacks in Sirsa dis­trict

A team of food and drugs ad­min­is­tra­tion (FDA) and the Haryana health de­part­ment on Thurs­day con­ducted raids in Sirsa dis­trict and reg­is­tered a case against two quacks. An FDA spokesper­son said the raid was con­ducted at Janta Hospi­tal, Sirsa, where doc­tors, with­out ap­pro­pri­ate qual­i­fi­ca­tions and regis­tra­tion, were treat­ing pa­tients. A case was reg­is­tered against the owner of the hospi­tal, Chan­drab­han Singh. In an­other case, quack Praveen Ku­mar Parik, who had been prac­tis­ing in Malekan vil­lage of Sirsa, was booked.
