Birender to undergo surgery at AIIMS

NEW DELHI: Union minister for steel Birender Singh was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here on Friday for a prostate gland problem and may undergo surgery next week.

“He was admitted today (Friday) morning. As of now, his tests are being conducted,” an AIIMS doctor said. The 71-yearold leader from Haryana has been visiting the AIIMS for three months for the treatment of his medical problem.
