INTEREST FREE FEST ADVANCE TO CLASS4 STAFF

ANDIGARH : The Haryana government has decided to give ₹6,000 interest free festival advance to its all Class-4 employees. State finance minister Capt Abhimanyu said the employees working on permanent, temporary ad-hoc basis in service for the last one year are eligible for this. This amount will be recovered in four monthly instalments. The minister said that all the heads of departments were directed to ensure that the advance might be drawn and disbursed on or before October 18. Abhimanyu clarified that the contingent paid staff and daily wagers will not be eligible for this and the advance should not be granted by parent departments to those Class-4 employees who are on deputation in other government/ corporations and local bodies.
