73 file nomination­s on Friday, 100 in all till now

SHIMLA/DHARAMSALA/MANDI/HAMIRPUR As many as 73 candidates filed their nomination­s for the state assembly elections on Friday. So far 100 people have filed nomination­s in all for the election slated for November 9.

In Bilaspur district, Jeet Ram Katwal filed his nomination as a BJP candidate from Jhanduta assembly segment.

In Mandi district, Gulab Singh Thakur filed his nomination paper as a Bharatiya Janata Party candidate from Joginderna­gar, Vinod Kumar as a BJP candidate from Nachan, Jai Ram Thakur on a BJP ticket from Seraj.

Kaul Singh Thakur filed his nomination paper as a Congress candidate from Drang, Jagdish Verma as an Independen­t candidate from Sarkaghat, Hem Raj Jogi as an Independen­t candidate from Sarkaghat, Moti Ram filed his papers as Independen­t candidate from Sarkaghat, Mehar Singh Khukhaliya filed his nomination paper as an Independen­t candidate from Karsog, Bhagat Ram filed his nomination paper as an Independen­t candidate from Karsog, Mast Ram filed his nomination paper as an Independen­t candidate from Karsog, Nirmala Chauhan filed her nomination paper as an Independen­t candidate from Karsog, Sohan Lal filed his nomination paper as Congress candidate from Sundernaga­r, Inder Singh filed his nomination paper as Bharatiya Janata Party candidate from Balh and Rakesh Kumar filed his nomination paper as BJP candidate from Sundernaga­r.
