TREAT LIFE AS A MARATHON INSTEAD OF RUNNING IT LIKE A SHORT SPRINT

Have we ever wondered if we are actually living or just existing? The best plan is never to just exist, but to live, and live every moment to the maximum. We can either continue living for the sake of it or turn it in to an adventure and something meaningful which would bring a deep satisfaction to ourselves and others.

Treat and savour life like a marathon instead of running at full speed like in a sprint. Take it slow and steady and give each moment deep thought. Are you doing enough to make your life worthwhile? Are you satisfied with your life or do you feel that you are capable of doing much more? Spare some time to think about your dreams and do something tangible and substantial about it.

Think what you can do besides your sphere of immediate responsibilities. Spare a thought for giving back to society in some way. It need not be materialistic. It could be helping someone in some way or being kind and empathetic.

If you treat life with care and respect, you will surely enjoy it; and every moment will become bliss. Live with the principle that Hunter S. Thompson suggested.

“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!”
