GET TO THE BOTTOM OF LOST PASSPORTS ROW

Apropos ‘258 Punjab-bound passports found dumped in Sirsa village (HT Punjab, March 12)’, the correct course of action has to be to send these to the Regional Passport Office, Chandigarh, after an inquiry. There is a possibility that these passports will be misused. The inquiry needs to focus on how and why such an important document was lost and that too in such numbers? Finally, these passports must be delivered to the rightful holders.
