The apex court has expressed concerns on issues including mass surveillance and data security

1 Will the collection of citizens’ data lead to mass virtual surveillance? 2 Can there be a stalking culture by the government that brands all citizens with the same stamp? 3 Can the government impose schemes on citizens who say they should be able to opt out? 4 Shouldn’t the data collected before the Aadhaar law was enforced in 2016 be destroyed? 5 Is the collected data safe amid assurances that measures have been taken in this regard? 6 Can the steps taken to secure data prove to be counterproductive?
