Vigilance nabs clerk for taking bribe in Muktsar

MUKTSAR: The state vigilance bureau arrested a clerk, Rajinderpal Singh, with the PWD (B and R) department in Gidderbaha sub-division of Muktsar for taking 20,000 bribe from a widow. The complainant, Karmjeet Kaur, the approached the department, claiming that the clerk was demanding the bribe for clearing her husband’s arrears. The vigilance laid a trap and nabbed the accused.
