J&K: Three IAS, 14 KAS officers transferred
JAMMU: The J& K government has transferred three IAS and 14 Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS) officers, an official spokesman said on Wednesday. The state cabinet on Tuesday evening issued orders for the transfers or postings, he said.
Sheetal Nanda, deputy commissioner, Samba, was posted as special secretary, rural development and panchayati raj department, the spokesman said.
He said Niraj Kumar, who is attached with the office of the Jammu divisional commissioner, was posted as director of the Indian System of Medicine. Kumar relieved Abdul Kabir Dar, secretary (Technical), health and medical education department of the additional charge.
IAS officer Vikas Kundal, additional deputy commissioner, Srinagar, was posted as deputy commissioner, Kargil, on the retirement on superannuation of KAS officer Gulzar Hussain on March 31, he said. Dar has been given additional charge of commissioner, food safety, relieving Pawan Kotwal, principal secretary, health and medical education department from post.
