4 killed, 21 injured in two separate road accidents in HP
IN ONE INCIDENT, A CAR VEERED OFF ROAD AND FELL INTO A DEEP GORGE NEAR LUG VALLEY IN KULLU DISTRICT, KILLING ALL FOUR OCCUPANTS
SHIMALA : Four persons were killed and 21 others injured in two separate road accidents in Himachal Pradesh on Monday, police said.
The first incident took place when a car veered off the road and fell into a deep gorge near Lug Valley in Kullu district this afternoon, they said.
All the four occupants of the car were killed, police added.
The police reached the spot on receiving information and retrieved the bodies with the help of local people, they said.
The deceased, which included a woman, were identified as Sarla Devi, Sohan Lal, Hari Singh and Tikkam Ram, all residents of Pachahali village near Kullu.
Additional suprientendent of police (ASP) , Kullu, Nishchint Negi said the bodies were handed over to family members after post mortem.
HRTC BUS RAMS INTO CAR IN ROHRU
In another incident, 21 persons were injured when a car collided with a Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus near Machauti in the Rohru area of this district, police said.
The injured persons were rushed to a hospital in Rohroo and all of them are stated to be out of danger, they said.
