Allahabad Bank celebrates its 154th foundation day

Allahabad Bank, one of the leading public sector banks of India, celebrated its 154th foundation Day on 24th April 2018 in Chandigarh. The bank, founded in 1865, now has a panindia presence rendering all kinds of financial services through its more than 9000 outlets including overseas branch at Hong Kong. Customer Meets were organized at all the branches under Chandigarh ZO to mark the occasion.

Various social & cultural activities, free health check-ups were also organized by different branches in Haryana, H.P & Chandigarh on that day. Shri Rajesh Mundra, AGM, Zonal office Chandigarh, said the Bank is not 153 years old but it is 153 years young and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the customers, stakeholde­rs and well wishers for their continued support & patronage. During the journey of 153 years, the trust of its customers, investors & stakeholde­rs have always stood the Bank in good stead, thus enabling its to withstand all odds.

Total Business of the Bank crossed Rs. 3.72 lac crores as on 31.12.2017. Target oriented aggressive marketing of a whole new range of value added products contribute­d substantia­lly to its growth & enhanced the confidence of its more than 6.55 crores customers & stakeholde­rs.

Bank has recently launched "All Bank Shakti Account" with various facilities and specially dedicated for Women & "All Bank Senior" a specially designed saving account for Senior Citizens offering discount in health check up tests.
