SC to hear plea on change in trust of Trimbakeshwar

NEW DELHI: Days after the Supreme Court asked the Centre to review the management boards of all temples, the court on Tuesday agreed to hear a petition seeking a modification in the scheme of management of the board of trustees of the historic Trimbakeshwar Shiva Temple in Maharashtra. The plea, before a bench of justices UU Lalit and Deepak Gupta, also asked for an increase in the number of trustees from the general public to six from four.
