SIDESTEPPING A NUCLEAR WAR

US president Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un have taken a landmark step by signing the treaty for denuclearization and peace. South Korea president Moon Jae-in and Singapore prime minister Lee Hsien Loong also deserve to be lauded for bringing about this meeting. Thanks to them the world has now taken a step away from the possibility of a nuclear war. Hopefully the people of North and South Korea will be able to build a relationship like the people of West and East Germany after the fall of The Berlin Wall.
