ROHTAK: A day after Haryana Congress chief Ashok Tanwar offered an olive branch to former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda by saying he was ready to forget the differences to work for the party, Hooda on Tuesday denied having any differences with Tanwar altogether.

“I don’t have any differences with Tanwar. We are all doing our work,” said Hooda, when asked for a response on Tanwar’s remarks.

He was addressing a press conference at his residence on Tuesday.

The two-time CM, however, maintained that Congress president Rahul Gandhi will take the decision to appoint party president in Haryana within next two months.

Attacking the BJP, Hooda termed the its claims of having implemented on the recommendations of Swaminathan Commission as bogus. “It feels sad to see state ministers dancing on roads by claiming they have implemented the Swaminathan report. They should stop lying to the public,” he said.

Hooda claimed that even Swaminathan himself is saying that his recommendations have not been fully implemented by the government. “Then why is the BJP beating the drums to spread its lies?” Hooda asked.

The former CM said under the Congress rule, the farmers had got 62% hike in paddy MSP. “The people are eagerly waiting to throw this government out,” he said.

Challenging the government, Hooda asked CM Manohar Lal Khattar to list any big project he has brought to Haryana in the past four years.

“When we were in power, we brought Metro, set up thermal plants. This government has done nothing except snatching away jobs,” he said.

Attacking the opposition INLD as well, Hooda termed the party’s latest Jail Bharo Andolan over the SYL canal a fake protest. “Nakli neta, nakli jail, nakli rihai aur nakli andolan (fake leaders, fake jail, fake release and fake agitation),” said Hooda, taking a dig at the INLD’S protest wherein its leaders have been courting arrest in all the districts of the state.

HOODA, HOWEVER, MAINTAINED THAT RAHUL WILL TAKE DECISION TO APPOINT PARTY PRESIDENT IN HARYANA WITHIN TWO MONTHS
