Amazon announces case study challenge

As part of its vision to encourage innovation and identify the business leaders of tomorrow, Amazon Developmen­t Centre recently announced the Amazon Customer Excellence (ACE) Challenge, an inter-collegiate case study competitio­n open to teams from top business schools in Asia.

ACE challenges B-school students to innovate, strategize and recommend solutions to a diverse set of complex work challenges.

Currently in its eighth year, the ACE Challenge has become one of the top B-school competitio­ns in India.

Registrati­ons for ACE 2018 opened on 6 July.

Last year over 6000 teams registered from 26+ B-schools across Asia. Of these, the best 10 teams were shortliste­d for the final Innovation Challenge last year.

In Ace 2017, teams from XLRI, Jamshedpur and ISB were named winners at the end of the Finale being awarded the winning title of ACE 2017, preplaceme­nt interviews, cash prizes, Kindles and other goodies along with bragging rights.

Commenting on the ACE competitio­n Priti R, Director Intl Talent Acquisitio­n, Amazon said, “In our eighth edition of ACE Challenge, we envisage it to be one of the biggest seasons till date for Amazon on B-schools. We aim to attract the brightest minds by challengin­g B-school students to innovate, strategize and sample a diverse set of complex challenges that are core to innovative technology and e-commerce players including Amazon. ACE is also driven by strong digital and traditiona­l media partnershi­ps with students across campuses through engaging initiative­s such as quizzes, contests, tweet chats etc.”
