ROHTAK: A 19-year-old factory worker in Rewari was brutally killed by three of his colleagues who shoved a compressed air hose inside his rectum and turned on the pressure, the police said. The deceased has been identified as Mohit Kumar, a resident of Etah in Uttar Pradesh, who had been working at Paramount Surgimed factory in Bawal area of Rewari for the past two months.

According to Kumar’s friends at the factory, he had an argument with three of his colleagues around four days ago when they abruptly switched off a machine he was working on. After the argument, Kumar complained to the contractor about the three workers, who then thrashed him in anger.

The three nursed a grudge against Kumar, and, on finding him alone on Friday, thrashed him again. They then stripped his pants and shoved an air compressor inside his rectum that injected a powerful blast of air in his body.

He soon collapsed. The other workers gathered at the spot hearing Kumar's cries for help rushed him to Rewari civil hospital, which referred him to Delhi. However, he succumbed to the injuries on the way. The autopsy report revealed internal injuries and multiple organ failure as the cause of death.

Based on a complaint by Kumar’s colleague, the police registered case of murder against three factory workers. The three have been identified as Rajesh Kumar, Murari Lal and Mukesh Kumar— all residents of Alwar in Rajasthan.
