HIMACHAL CM: OUR FOCUS ON MAXIMUM GOVERNANCE

SHIMLA :Himachal Pradesh chief minister(cm) Jai Ram Thakur said the government was working with the motto of ‘minimum government and maximum governance’ in its aim to simplify the procedures of state-welfare schemes and speedy redressal of public grievances.

“The focus of the government will be to simplify various procedures and complexiti­es so that grievances of public could be redressed without any delay,” said the CM during the meeting of ‘Chief Minister Fellowship Programme’ here on Saturday.

He added that the spot grievances programme ‘Jan Manch’ launched has proved beneficial for the residents as most of their problems are redressed at their door steps.

Speaking on monitoring of various welfare schemes, the CM said, “Regular monitoring of developmen­t projects is undertaken through ‘Darpan CM Dashboard’ to ensure that benefits reach the targeted group.”

He said in the first phase, the government will focus on monitoring of flagship schemes and also ensure implementa­tion of various announceme­nts made by him at public platforms.

While presiding over the meeting to review skill up gradation initiative­s , the CM said providing livelihood and encouragin­g entreprene­urship amongst the unemployed youth was the main thrust area of the government.
