PANEL VS PANEL
The then Parkash Singh Badal government set up the Justice Zora Singh (retd) Commission soon after the October 2015 sacrilege incidents and police firing at Kotkapura and Behbal Kalan. It submitted its report to the government on June 30, 2016. After coming to power, the Capt Amarinder Singh government rejected the report in April 2017 dubbing it "inconclusive” and formed the Justice Ranjit Singh (retd) commission to probe the cases.
