20 trains cancelled till March 1 as precautionary measure
THE RAILWAYS HAS ALSO REDUCED FREQUENCY OF FEW OTHER TRAINS TILL FEBRUARY 29
AMBALA: As a precautionary measure in view of fog in northern states, the Ambala division of the Northern Railways has cancelled 20 trains till March 2.
The order comes in continuation of the previous cancellation announced in November last year for the period between December 16, 2019 and January 31, 2020.
Train which runs between Jammu and Haridwar every Sunday has been cancelled till February 23. Jammu Tawi-kolkata Express has also been cancelled till March 2. Jammu Tawishri
Ganganagar Express which runs on Thursdays has been cancelled till February 27.
From Amritsar, train leaving for Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur every Sunday stands cancelled till February 23. Another train leaving every Saturday for Lalkuan in Uttarakhand has been cancelled till February 29.
The Railways has also cancelled Amritsar-banmankhi Express which runs daily from
Amritsar till February 29.
Amritsar-jaynagar Express that leaves Amritsar every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday has been cancelled till February 28.
From Chandigarh, Unchahar Express which leaves for Prayagraj daily has been cancelled till February 29.
Train leaving Amritsar for Ajmer on every Friday and Sunday (Train number 19614) has been cancelled till March 1.
The train that leaves Ambala for Barauni every Tuesday and Saturday stands cancelled till February 29. The Railways has also reduced frequency of few other trains for the same period.
