I worked with Saroj ji in two films, Kahaani Gudiya Ki (2005) and Veer Zara (2004). It was like she did magic to all heroines she worked with. I actually waited ‘Mujhe kab milega time inke saath kaam karne ka’. For me, a major connect was that she looked like my mother. In fact, people would tell my mom, ‘Aap Saroj Khan ki sister hain?’
