WINNERS NEVER QUIT
The Race Across America (RAAM), one of the world’s most challenging cycle races, was organised virtually this year due to Covid-19 outbreak. It had cyclists from various parts of the world competing against each other on indoor trainers. Cycling indoors for long hours was quite gruelling. Lt Col Bharat Pannu won the race after 12 days, pedalling over 4,000km. He managed with just 11 sleep breaks of 90 or 180 minutes.
