Real-estate sector
The Haryana government has decided to grant moratorium on compliances and interest payments from March 1 to September 30 for all existing real-estate projects.
Stamp duty
The cabinet decided to reduce stamp duty from Rs 2,000 to Rs 100, chargeable on loan agreements or agreement or memorandum of an agreement.
Civil services aptitude test
The cabinet approved the civil services aptitude test (CSAT) of preliminary exam as a qualifying exam for the posts of HCS (executive branch) and other allied services conducted by HPSC.
Special fire safety norms
The cabinet approved the proposal of urban local bodies department to bring an ordinance to amend Section-15 (1) of the Haryana Fire Service Act, to increase the current minimum height of 15 metres for special fire safety norms for residential buildings.
Superior judicial service
The cabinet approved an amendment in Rule 11 (c) of Haryana Superior Judicial Service Rules to make the minimum age of 35 and maximum age of 45 mandatory for direct entry into Haryana Superior Judicial Service.
Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Trust
The cabinet gave approval for the formation of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, Lohgarh Foundation (Trust), situated at Bhagwanpur in Haryana and other places.
1% market fee on fruits, veggies
The cabinet approved an amendment in the Haryana Rural Development Act through an ordinance to implement the decision of imposing 1% market fee and 1% HRDF on the rate of fruits and vegetables.
Compounding of challans
The cabinet allowed compounding of challans issued for violations of the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act during the lockdown.
Allotment of ULB land
The cabinet accorded approval to a policy for allotment of urban local bodies land for social, religious and charitable purposes to trusts and private institutions.
Amendment in affordable housing policy
The cabinet accorded approval to waive the upper limit of 15 acres for a licence through an amendment in Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojana Affordable Plotted Housing Policy. Approval to the policy for grant of CLU was also granted to set up ‘Eco Friendly Housing Policy’.
