DOCTORS FIND A NOVEL WAY FOR COVID TREATMENT
The doctors of KGMU have found a novel way to treat and cure Covid patients through Intravenous Imuglobin therapy. As per the research the IVIG anti viral injection has been found to be highly effective in controlling Covid infection. The medicine department of KGMU researched on 67 men and 33 women with this therapy of age 18 years to 80 years. These patients were suffering with Covid and pneumonia. The health of patients treated with the IVIG injections did not get serious besides their oxygen levels also increased and finally became negative.
TUMOR SURGERY AT BRD
The doctors of BRD medical college have successfully removed a 4 kg small football size chest tumor of a patient after a 6 hour long operation. The chest of the patient was reconstructed from the skin and muscles of his back. The operation required great surgical skills as the tumor had reached one of the important veins in the neck connecting the brain and also to the ribs causing a danger of melting of rib bones. The patient is recovering well after the surgery.
BHU SURGEON SAVES LIFE OF A CANCER PATIENT
In a first of its kind surgery in the state, life of a lady patient was saved by the BHU doctor after a 3 hour long operation. The woman was suffering from breast cancer and getting her treatment in the oncology department. Unfortunately during the chemotherapy treatment a part of her tumor dropped inside her body causing blood clotting in the body. It is noteworthy that a treatment outside would have costed around 3-4 lakh rupees while it costed just Rs 1,000 in the hospital.
CRITICAL SURGERY SAVES LIFE OF A GIRL CHILD
A highly critical surgery was successfully performed on a new born baby girl child at BRD medical college. Soon after her birth, the child suffered from severe breathing problem and increased heartbeat. After checkup, it was found that the food pipe of the baby was not developed and an operation was the only way out. The child was operated within 2 days of her birth in 2 phases.
