ATHLETICS Dutee Chand EVENT: WOMEN’S 200M HEAT
The Indian sprinter finished a poor
45th overall among the 54 runners that took part in the 100m heat in her first outing at these Games. Dutee will be back on the Tokyo tracks for the 200m, for which she has also qualified based on her world rankings. Dutee is placed in Heat 4, which also has USA'S Gabrielle Thomas.

BADMINTON Viktor Axelsen EVENT: MEN’S SINGLES FINAL
Axelsen, the world No. 2 from Denmark, will fight for the gold against the defending Olympic champion Chen Long. The Chinese might be ranked 6th in the world, but he has had a grip over Axelsen with a 14-5 win-loss record. Axelsen, though, won their last meeting in Malaysia last year, and will be eager to get his hands on the
gold after settling for bronze in Rio.
