The best part about being a woman:

Is that multitasking is a part of who we are. Women are nurturers, they can give birth, they can be homemakers, entrepreneurs, they can run businesses, they can run a country… they can juggle multiple responsibilities and roles.

The best part about being in your 30s:

It is a great space I am in right now. I finally know exactly what I want, I know who I am and also what kind of people I want around me. I am becoming not just intolerant but confident about the kind of people I want in my life. There is zero space in my life right now for the inauthentic and the ingenuous.

The best part about being an actor:

The fact that I get to be someone else and try on a different life! You almost learn how to be someone else… be in someone else’s shoes! Also, for me it is a very immersive experience… it is almost like meditation.

The best thing about being an entrepreneur:

That I am the captain of the ship and I am sketching out my destiny as I move along. It is wonderful to be able to build something from scratch. It is your baby, and it always will be.

The kind of skills and the kind of things you learn are not something you can learn on a job. As hard as it is, being an entrepreneur makes you a much more evolved person.

Your definition of feminism:

Tolerance and asking for an equal and fair seat with men, and not believing that any gender is superior to the rest. It definitely doesn’t mean bashing men.

One thing you have learnt about yourself while acting as yourself:

That my biggest strength is my discipline and that I have a very solid head over my shoulders. I am very committed, and I am not a diva.

The biggest life lesson your mom taught you:

You have to be able to laugh at yourself. Also, that being vulnerable, having emotions, is not a weakness but a superpower.

And from your dad:

Whatever you do, do it from a position of strength. Also, that no matter where you come from, it doesn’t stop you from going wherever you plan to go—be it in your professional life or your personal life.
