‘SUKHBIR SIDELINED ME’

AMRITSAR: Navjot Singh Sidhu targeted Punjab deputy CM Sukhbir Badal on Thursday, accusing SAD chief of sidelining him.

In a press release, Sidhu said he and former SAD MP Ratan Singh Ajnala were sidelined so that Sukhbir’s wife Harsimrat Kaur Badal could get a berth in the Union cabinet. Sidhu was apparently responding to a Sukhbir’s statement wherein he had said, “I had cordial relations with him (Sidhu). I wonder what is their (Sidhu couple’s) problem is with the alliance.”

“I was not allowed to speak at a rally organised in memory of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. In meetings held with regard to developmen­t of Amritsar, I was not invited,” Sidhu said.
